The company has highly automated production lines, integrated with a complex IT architecture that supports next‑generation production and management processes.Position SummaryAs part of e‑Mobility R&D and reporting to the PSD Manager, you will be responsible for power converter control design and implementation based on the relevant requirements and in collaboration with the Project Team.ResponsibilitiesModelling and simulation of power conversion stages plants and controlsTheoretical study, evaluation and proposal of optimal control strategies for the targeted applicationDevelopment and subsequent implementation of converter control strategies/algorithmsFine‑tune of implemented strategy on target and / or Rapid Prototyping systemControl strategies deployment into DSP Software in collaboration with the DSP Software Development TeamIntegration test execution on target hardwareTechnical SkillsPower system modelling and identificationDevelopment of automatic controls, with particular reference to digital ones, for converter systems such as Active Front End, PFC, DC/DC converter, etc.Knowledge of digital controls for power electronics (PWM modulation schemes, digital filtering, synchronous sampling of analog quantities, etc.)Nice to have: embedded C language programming knowledge for power electronic DSPs (e.g. Texas Instruments C2000 family)Main modelling tools (e.g. MATLAB / Simulink, PLECS, etc.)QualificationsBachelor's/Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering and knowledge of power electronics controlGood English spoken and writtenKnowledge of LabVIEW language (plus)Soft Skills and AttributesExcel in a fast‑paced team environment and be able to collaborate with engineering, suppliers and Project teamsAbility to react quickly to unexpected changes and competing priorities and deliver quality resultsProactive attitude and propensity for change, team spiritCommunication skills, open mind and propensity to share knowledge and informationBenefitsTechnical training and upskillingSalary package (RAL) aligned with actual experience, plus related bonusesMeal card and corporate welfare programPossibility of smart working and flexible working hoursInternational, multicultural, highly technical, and dynamic environmentExcellent opportunity for professional growthJob DetailsSeniority Level: Entry levelEmployment Type: Full‑timeJob Function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
