Having been around for over forty years, our client provides the resources necessary for their team members to excel and reach their career goals in the communications industry.Position Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced Cable Technicians for a long term contract opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables.Job ResponsibilitiesPulling cat 5e/cat 6 cable in a new construction environmentTesting fiber cables with Fluke testerBuild out MDF/IDFsInstallation of wireless access points (WAP’s)Install J Hooks, D-rings, cable tray, and other cable supportsReading blueprints and schematicsRequirements1+ years of experience in commercial cabling.Experience pulling and terminating cables.Ability to climb ladders and insert cable in Access Points.Able to work from boom/scissor lifts.About Us At Anistar Technologies, we connect individuals from a variety of industries with respected companies, both nationally and internationally.
