Transformer Field Specialist – Power Transformers Location: Europe (Flexible within EU region) Role Summary The Transformer Field Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical services for power transformers across customer sites in the EU. This includes installation, commissioning, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of transformer systems. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute field service activities for power transformers, including: Installation and commissioning Routine and emergency maintenance Troubleshooting and diagnostics Interface with customers to ensure service excellence and technical support. Perform inspections and testing of transformer components (e.g., bushings, tap changers, insulation). Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Document service activities and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Support training and mentoring of junior engineers and technicians. Qualifications Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Proven field experience with power transformers (preferably in utility or industrial settings). Strong understanding of transformer design, operation, and maintenance. Willingness to travel across the EU region. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
