Sales Manager – Industrial Solutions

Our client is an international industrial group, a leader in engineered-to-order technological solutions for heavy industries. Operating in the B2B market, the company has a strong presence in metallurgical sectors (foundries, steel mills, die casting, primary metal suppliers) as well as waste-to-energy plants. The role The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the Italian market, with full commercial accountability and close cooperation with top management in defining the division’s growth strategies. The role includes managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the company’s technological solutions through a value-driven approach. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the commercial strategy for the relevant sectors, in line with group growth objectives. Analyze target markets (foundries, steel mills, die casting, primary metals, waste-to-energy) to identify business opportunities. Manage and develop key customer relationships, building long-term partnerships. Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal, negotiation, and closing of contracts. Cooperate with engineering and R&D to ensure alignment between customer needs and offered solutions. Monitor commercial KPIs, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring achievement of sales and profitability targets.RequirementsDegree in Engineering or technical/economic disciplines. At least 10 years of experience in sales roles within complex, project-based industrial environments. Proven background in metallurgical industries and related sectors. Strong negotiation and B2B contract management skills.
