Mission
Within the Philanthropy & Fondazione Bvlgari department, the Philanthropy & Fondazione BvlgariProject Manager will be responsible for developing and managing art, cultural, philanthropic and institutional relationship projects, ensuring alignment with the Fondazione’s mission and Bvlgari’s values.
The role oversees projects end-to-end, from concept development to execution, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and ensuring high-quality delivery, consistency and smooth collaboration across all stakeholders involved.
Job responsibilities
Main Accountabilities
- Act as a cross-functional Project Manager across the three pillars of Fondazione Bvlgari: Art & Patronage, Education & Philanthropy, and Savoir-faire Transmission;
- Develop and manage art patronage, philanthropic, educational, savoir-faire transmission and cultural projects from concept definition to final execution;
- Translate strategic guidelines into structured project proposals, actionable plans, detailed project timelines and workback plans;
- Supervise project timing, budget and quality, ensuring constant monitoring of milestones, deliverables, costs and standards through dedicated project management tools, including timelines, budget tracking files, status updates and reports;
- Manage suppliers independently, including coordination, follow-up and economic aspects, in alignment with internal procedures and project objectives;
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with relevant teams, and most importantly with Communication, Image and Social Media teams, ensuring consistency across project objectives, content production, editorial planning and external visibility;
- Coordinate communication flows and press office activities with the institutions involved, ensuring alignment among all parties and consistency of messages;
- Support and nurture relationships with museums, institutions, foundations, cultural partners, curators, artists and other key counterparts;
- Contribute to the visibility and enhancement of Fondazione Bvlgari’s cultural and philanthropic initiatives.
Profile
Skills
- 6/7 years of experience in project management within museums, cultural institutions, foundations, art, culture, philanthropy, patronage or related fields
- Degree in Management Engineering, Architecture, Cultural Heritage, Economics or similar fields
- Strong project management skills, including project management tools, budget monitoring and reporting
- Deep understanding of museum and cultural institution dynamics
- Full command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in Italian and English, French is a plus
- High level of autonomy and accountability
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Diplomatic and collaborative approach
- Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Flexibility and ability to operate in dynamic environments
Additional information
For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is EUR 55.000.
This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.
This role also provides for participation in a bonus scheme, at Bulgari’s discretion, based on factors such as individual and/or company performance.
In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.
The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL) and the supplementary company agreement, as applied by Bulgari in Italy.
