In this role, the SW architect will work closely with the HW and system architecture, base SW development, integration and validation teams. Beside excellent project and technical execution capabilities, we expect a mindset for continuous improvement and discovery. The position requires a deep understanding of the requirements of automotive embedded software development, as well as a deep understanding of modern software development concepts derived from automotive and non-automotive platforms such as Classic Autosar, Adaptive Autosar, Linux, QNX and Android.ResponsibilitiesDefinition of the SW Architecture and Requirements, for High-Performance Computer (HPC) and Zone Control Unit (ZCU) focusing on high level concept, low-level drivers, middleware, SW libraries / frameworks and communication protocolsDefine strategic processes for HPC/ZCU: start-up, failure detection, VM interaction, Hypervisor configuration, recovery/degraded mode, power and thermal management.Define system relevant KPIs and allocation of system resources and track them at each SW releaseWork with HW architects to define SW architecture and requirements for Base SW developmentWork with application SW architects to integrate applications into ECUsAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
