OverviewData Scientist – Personalization & Customer Analytics (Mid / Senior) – Remote (Europe). Eligible to work in EU / Europe. 1–2 weeks per year in NYC (optional). At F. We are investing in data-driven personalization to better understand our customers, optimize our product offering, and drive meaningful business growth. We are expanding our Data Strategy & Analytics team and are looking for business-oriented Data Scientists (mid-level and senior) who enjoy working close to commercial teams, exploring data, building practical machine-learning models, and translating insights into real impact. This role combines strong analytical thinking with hands-on modeling skills, and a focus on why a model exists as well as how it works.Who This Role Is ForYou are a Data Scientist who enjoys working close to marketing, product, and commercial stakeholdersTranslates business questions into analytical and ML solutionsBuilds practical recommendation and segmentation modelsCommunicates insights clearly to non-technical audiencesWorks end-to-end: exploration → modeling → insight → impactThis role is not focused on ML infrastructure, backend engineering, or MLOps.What You’ll DoPartner with product, marketing, and operations teams to turn business needs into analytical solutionsAnalyze large-scale customer and product data to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunitiesDevelop and refine customer segmentation models to support targeted marketing and personalizationBuild and improve recommendation systems (collaborative, content-based, or hybrid)Select, train, and evaluate machine-learning models with a strong focus on business outcomesDefine and track performance metrics for personalization and recommendation use casesSupport data quality, enrichment, and modeling during our migration to PIM and CDP platformsPresent insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable wayExperience
