Our mission is to accelerate the global transition to renewable energy by providing reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective storage technologies.As we continue to expand, we are looking for talented professionals to join our dynamic and international team.Reports to the Procurement Team Lead, and works closely with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Expediting, we are looking for aSenior Buyerwho will be responsible for managing procurement activities globally, with a specific focus on US suppliers.Purpose of the Role Manage the procurement process for strategic materials and services, ensuring quality, competitive costs, on-time deliveries, and compliance with purchasing requirements.Key Responsibilities · Manage the entire purchasing process, taking full ownership and ensuring transparency and efficiency at every stage. · Conduct contract and commercial negotiations with strong bargaining skills, securing favorable conditions for the company in terms of cost and commercial clauses. · Identify and qualify new suppliers both nationally and internationally, expanding and consolidating the supply base. · Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the execution of orders and in meeting agreed deadlines. · Manage supplier relationships throughout the entire order lifecycle, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and supporting the Expediting function in case of critical issues or delays. · Collaborate actively with various company functions (Engineering, Quality, Production, Finance, Project Management, Expediting) to ensure consistency and efficiency in the procurement process.Requirements · Degree in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. · Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Buyer / Senior Buyer, preferably in industrial, technical, or mechanical and/or plant engineering contexts. · Experience in international Supplier management. · Experience in managing complex tenders for EPC contracts in the Energy or Oil & Gas sectors and technical knowledge of the electro-mechanical sectors are considered a plus.NB. Some travels to our Boston's office will be required. It's important that the candidate holds a valid passport and is willing to travel when needed.Soft Skills & Personal Attributes · Excellent negotiation and communication skills (in Italian and English). · Ability to work effectively in cross-functional contexts. · Methodical and action/result oriented, cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlinesRemuneration The role offers a gross annual salary between€55,000 and €60,000 , in addition to a variable bonus and a structured benefits package, commensurate with experience and seniority.
