Contributing to maintaining an innovative IT architecture by leveraging IT expertise and a long‑term sustainable vision. Designing and managing the integration of IT and OT systems, ensuring robust cybersecurity at all levels, and defining strategies and methodologies for managing transitions where necessary. Identifying and implementing continuous improvements to enhance the efficiency, usability, and maintainability of production systems through IT solutions and data analysis. Providing technical support for IT/OT systems, with a primary focus on IT components, within industrial production architectures and systems. Supervising and coordinating specialist technicians from various companies and disciplines throughout the entire project lifecycle. Ensuring that project documentation is consistently up to date. Leading and actively participating in change management processes within the client’s IT/OT infrastructure. Adhering to and ensuring compliance with the client’s quality guidelines and manuals, both general and IT/OT‑specific. Acting as the primary point of contact and technical escalation for IT/OT and automation matters within the company. At least 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer. Comprehensive understanding of concepts related: Cybersecurity for Industrial Automation & Control Systems (ISA99); Enterprise‑Control System Integration (ISA95); Functional Safety – Safety Instrumented Systems (ISA84); Human‑Machine Interfaces (ISA101); Wireless Systems for Industrial Automation (ISA100).Advanced knowledge of networking technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, routing, filtering, and DNS. Strong understanding of industrial technologies and protocols such as EtherNet/IP™, CIP™, ModBus, Profinet, BACnet, and Zigbee. Proficiency in interpreting electrical, mechanical, or process diagrams. Basic knowledge of widely used SCADA, MES, and DCS solutions. Basic experience in SCADA programming. Familiarity with server operating systems and common virtualisation solutions. Adaptability to dynamic, multidisciplinary, and international environments. Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders at all organisational levels. Excellent command of the English language (B2 level).Nice to haveSolid understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the industry (e.g., chemical and pharmaceutical sectors). Familiarity with industrial production processes.
