Keep reading What you will do As a HVDC Senior Expert at CESI S.p.A., your main responsibilities will include: ·       Good knowledge of electrical power system fundamentals ·       Applying the most common software tools for network modeling (e.g., PSCAD, ATP, EMTP-RV, PSSE, DigSilent, or equivalent) ·       In the feasibility phase, selection of optimal parameters for the HVDC equipment, to be chosen by means of networks and performance studies ·       When specifying an HVDC substation, define the station layout, electromechanical layout and selection of main equipment ·       In the construction/commissioning phase, acceptance tests in the factory and on site, ensuring the quality of the products supplied ·       Direct customer interaction ·       Coordination of junior engineers' activities As a HVDC Senior Expert, you will be part of our team working on the main power equipment/systems of both HVDC stations. After an initial period of integration and familiarization with the methodology and approach at the Milan headquarters, entrepreneurial activity will also require the availability of periods abroad whose duration may vary from a few days to a few weeks. What you bring Among all your other talents, your key knowledge and experience is: Knowledge & Experience ·       Master of Electrical Engineering degree ·       Languages: English, Italian.
