Mission:

As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy , specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a System Engineer - Railway sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.

What is the challenge?

Develop system and hardware specifications based on product requirements.
Perform simulations, testing, and validation of electronic systems and components.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and system issues during development and production.
Prepare technical documentation, test reports and design reviews.
Collaborate with mechanical, software and production engineering teams.
Interface with external suppliers.

We are looking for a System Engineer with a background in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering to join our team working on railway and onboard communication systems.

The role will involve System Engineering, System Integration, Testing and Verification & Validation activities, with a focus on communication and diagnostic systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
2 years of experience in telecommunications, embedded systems or the railway sector.
Knowledge of radio communication principles .
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills .
Good command of English and Italian , both written and spoken.

Technical skills:

Good knowledge of IBM DOORS
Telecommunications & Radio Communication
GSM-R / CAB Radio
Event Recorder / JRU / Black Box
System Integration
Verification & Validation / Testing
Railway Systems

Nice to have:

Experience with GSM-R, CAB Radio or railway communication systems.
Knowledge of JRU / Event Recorder / Black Box systems.
Experience in testing and validation activities.
Knowledge of ERTMS/ETCS .
Familiarity with the railway environment and onboard systems .

This position is ideal for a graduate or junior engineer looking to develop a career in System Engineering and Railway Technologies .
