This position will function as a member of the Software Integration and Testing team within the PDT/SWE/IVDO organization. We are seeking an experienced engineer to take on a hands-on technical role focused on software integration, test automation, and build verification testing for automotive connectivity platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain test benches used for Build Verification Testing (BVT).
  • Develop new automated test cases and update existing test suites to align with evolving specifications.
  • Perform root cause analysis on Linux and Android systems, relating issues to software code changes and build configuration changes.
  • Support software integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities across embedded automotive platforms.
  • Collaborate with software developers, integration teams, and validation engineers to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Document test procedures, findings, and integration activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development and testing using C/C++.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software integration within Linux environments, including Yocto.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software integration within Android environments.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in automated testing for embedded products.

Required Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

  • Python
  • CMake
  • Bash scripting
  • Linux and Android command-line environments
  • Standard Linux tools (SSH, shell utilities, etc.)
  • Vector tools

Experience with:

  • Linux and Android debugging tools (GDB, ADB, etc.)
