Cloud Solution Architect

We are currently looking for a Cloud Solution Architect in Italy.In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging advanced cloud technologies with real-world customer needs. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to design, validate, and position modern cloud-native solutions across complex environments. The role offers high visibility and influence, combining customer-facing engagements with strategic input into product evolution. Remote work is supported, with regular interaction across teams and customers.AccountabilitiesProvide expert technical guidance during customer-facing engagements, both remotely and onsite, supporting sales cycles from discovery through validation.Act as a cloud subject matter expert, advising on cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and automation strategies using Infrastructure as Code.Lead deep technical discovery sessions to align customer pain points with appropriate cloud and data protection solutions.Support solution validation and, when needed, assist with technical implementation and proof-of-value activities.Deliver technical presentations and enablement sessions for sales and systems engineering teams.Collaborate closely with product management and engineering to share real-world feedback, identify product gaps, and test new features prior to release.Travel up to approximately 50 percent for onsite meetings, internal events, and key customer engagements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud solutions engineering, or a closely related technical role.Expert-level knowledge of major hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including security, networking, identity, workloads, and services.Strong understanding of backup, high availability, and disaster recovery architectures in cloud environments.Experience with identity providers and integrations, including Entra, Active Directory, and Okta.Hands‑on scripting experience with languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Practical experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools is strongly preferred.Proven ability to deliver clear and engaging technical presentations to audiences of varying sizes.Strong self‑management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities independently.BenefitsCompetitive compensation package aligned with experience and market standards.Flexible remote work model with autonomy and trust‑based culture.Opportunities to work with cutting‑edge cloud, security, and data technologies.Ongoing learning, certification support, and professional development opportunities.Exposure to international customers and cross‑functional global teams.Inclusive and collaborative work environment that values innovation and impact.Why Apply Through Jobgether?We use an AI‑powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role’s core requirements.
