Full-time on-site position at a customer location in the Columbia/Ft. Meade area. This is not a remote position.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Operations and maintenance of a data center network
Deep understanding of routing and switching technologies commonly implemented in data center networks including EVPN, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, Pseudo wires, L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS Traffic Engineering (TE), Routing Policies, and associated tunneling technologies (GRE, VXLAN, etc.).
Juniper products to be supported: QFX, MX, EX, SRX
Experience with Juniper products a plus, but not a requirement
Ideal Strengths:
Motivation, a self-starter that can take direction but also identify and engage in areas to improve network design and operation
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to prioritize work activity to achieve customer and
