Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Staff Verification Engineer . To join our team, that is involved in development of integrated circuits at the heart of modern power systems. In this position, the successful candidate will work with an experienced team and be exposed to the entire product lifecycle from definition and requirements through IC design to silicon support. This is a varied role with real impact on the business development of the organization. Job Location: The VISHAY IC Design Team located In Northern Italy will be tasked of defining/designing and bringing to production complex analog & mixed power management ICs that are going to be at the core of – but not limited to - High Peformance Computing systems. What you will be doing: Develop top and block level verification test plans based on specification of power ICs. Build and maintain verification environment. Drive the quality to achieve maximum target of code and functional coverage. Drive innovation in verification technology. Ensure coverage of all components of an integrated circuit: hardware and software. Responsible for analyzing and debugging failures. Lead a project from the planning phase to the mass production with focus on pre-silicon performance. Provide written and oral communication with the development team regarding coverage reviews, code reviews, deliverables, project updates and issues. What you will bring along: PhD, post-graduate or degree qualification in Electronic Engineering or similar. 15+ years’ relevant engineering experience with experience as technical lead and Mentor Solid knowledge of UVM and familiarity with vertical reuse techniques. Experience in Assertion Based Verification: PSL and SVA. Experience in formal methodology for functional coverage and debugging. Experience in scripting: TCL, CSH, python. Knowledge of analog & mixed-signal IC architectures and integration requirements. Familiarity with power-aware verification using UPF/UCF Experience in co-verification and knowledge of Jama and Jira are nice to have  Experience with power management products Experience of working in wide-ranging roles and flexible environments.
