TechnicianJob Category: Customer Care and Technical Service / Location: QAJob Requisition ID: 2541Daikin Middle East & Africa (DAME) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese company and a leading provider of HVAC‑R solutions.Job ResponsibilitiesExecute maintenance and repair tasks within specified timeframes, adhering to defined processes, service agreements, and customer requirements.Serve as the primary on‑site contact for customers, addressing technical installation and service issues promptly and effectively.Conduct planned site and customer visits, resolving requests and calls as dispatched.Cultivate positive customer relationships and provide proactive feedback on equipment and system status.Document customer interactions and completed work for reference and continuous improvement.Diagnose and repair system malfunctions under general supervision, using specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications.Collaborate with technical support as needed and appropriately report escalated issues.Communicate effectively with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.Conduct regular meetings with customers to understand operational challenges and address their needs.Keep customers informed about the nature of provided services, outstanding issues, and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, replacements, or additional labour and material work.Advise and train customers in system operations to enhance their understanding and usage.Document completed work clearly and concisely, submitting service reports promptly.Maintain and enhance technical proficiency in Daikin’s product lines through continuous learning and training.Requirements2–3 year course in Air‑Conditioning & Refrigeration or an equivalent training program with certification.4–6 years of experience in HVAC service.Ability to understand and analyze relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.Knowledge of air‑cooled and water‑cooled screw/centrifugal chillers.Knowledge of chiller/electrical controls.Knowledge of airside products – air handling units / fan coil units, etc.Ensures compliance with DAME safety culture and all applicable safety standards, requirements, and equipment.Ensures compliance with environmental and industry regulations where required.Computer and controls skills are an added advantage.About the CompanyDaikin Middle East & Africa FZE is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd., a leading provider of heating, cooling, ventilation, air purification, and refrigeration technology across the EMEA region.
