Coesia operates in 34 countries with 20 different companies and employs over 8,000 people as of 2025.About the role We are seeking a mechanical engineer to join our Engineering department. The successful candidate will work alongside Senior Mechanical Designers, managing projects of after‑sales kits from concept to completion, to develop full autonomy.As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:Design mechanical components as well as small machine groups;Modify already existing machine groups, design mechanical parts;Draft relevant technical documentation;Support the assembly department for ongoing modifications;Strong collaboration with the Electronics Department;Design review;The position is based in Castel Maggiore (Bologna, Italy).What you need to be successful To be successful in the role, you must have a strong and keen interest in designing activities and an innate aptitude for working with customers and colleagues. You are a team player.Hold a Technical high school diploma. The attainment of a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related is considered a plus;Previous experience of at least 3 years, preferably in automation machinery;Know parametric designing tools. Understanding of Creo Modelling/ProEngineering and CAD Tools will be considered a plus;You are willing to learn SAP and Oracle.
