Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer – Space/Defence field ABYLSEN is an international engineering consulting group with 3300 employees and a turnover of 350M€ in 2024. MISSION : As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a Quality Engineer – Aerospace field to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects. What is the challenge? ACTIVITY : Perform incoming inspection activities using appropriate measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, microscopes, etc.) Conduct quality control checks during manufacturing to ensure adherence to internal standards and procedures Review technical specifications to verify compliance with manufactured products Support Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management in coordination with the Quality and Production teams Monitor the use and compliance of measuring equipment, ensuring calibration and maintenance Collect and analyze statistical quality data to improve calibration and quality processes PROFILE : The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Quality or Aerospace Engineering and at least 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
