The Gritti Palace a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International is currently recruiting for a F&B Guest Experience Ambassador. The F&B Guest Experience Ambassador will report to the Restaurant Manager and be part of the F&B department. This is a full‑time role. What we offerProfessional career progression at international level in 9,000 Marriott hotels Learning and development opportunities online, on the job and in class Discounts on hotel rooms, gift shop items, food and beverage Experienced management & motivated and engaging colleagues Charity events, wellbeing activities and voluntary work in the community of Venice through the TakeCare program Canteen service and uniformWhat you’ll doEnsure guests are welcomed in a warm and professional manner and supervise the entrance of the restaurant Manage reservations by phone, email and face‑to‑face, recording guests’ preferences Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu content Maintain a thorough understanding of all standards liaise with Event and the restaurant team for special events and occasions liaise with other departments (F&B Sales and Front Office) for VIP guests and special celebrations Supply guests with directions and information regarding the restaurant and the hotel Provide support regarding any reasonable task requested by the ManagementWhat we’re looking forFluent in English and Italian are required Understanding of luxury hospitality F&B operations Experience in the same role in fine dining restaurants would be an advantage A warm, people‑oriented demeanour A team‑player attitude Positive outlook and dependability Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skillsAs a world‑class leader in the travel industry, there’s no better place than Marriott International to make your mark.
