We offer comprehensive professional development opportunities and the chance to shape the security of one of the world's largest cloud providers.Key Job ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations ManagementManage on-site physical security operations for Data CentersOversee access control systems, guard force operations, and vendor contractsConduct risk assessments, security audits, and incident reportingGenerate and analyze security metricsImplement and maintain CCTV monitoring systems and media security protocolsEnsure protection of customer data through robust security measuresProcess and Policy ManagementImplement new security processes while maintaining compliance with Amazon policiesDevelop and execute security plans for special eventsCreate evacuation procedures and emergency response protocolsEstablish benchmarks for security performanceDesign customized policies to meet internal and external regulationsRelationship ManagementBuild and maintain partnerships with internal teams (DC Engineering, DC Operations)Coordinate with external partners (Vendors, Emergency Services)Supervise security contractors and monitor their performanceCollaborate with global security teamsProject ManagementDeliver security projects within specified timelines and budgetsProvide regular status updates to stakeholdersIdentify and address safety and security deficienciesConduct data analysis to support risk assessmentsTravel to other geographic regions as requiredBasic QualificationsLegal & Investigative ExpertiseComprehensive knowledge of investigative laws and practicesExperience conducting security investigationsUnderstanding of workplace safety regulations and complianceTechnical ExpertiseAdvanced knowledge of security technology, including: Access control systems, CCTV operations, Identification systems, Special security applicationsProfessional CertificationsRelevant security industry certificationsAdditional safety or security credentialsManagement ExperienceProven vendor management experienceDemonstrated decision‑making abilities in complex situationsTechnical SkillsProficiency with data gathering and analysis toolsAbility to quickly adapt to new company systemsLanguage & CommunicationStrong communication skills in English (may include other languages)Preferred QualificationsCorporate/DC Security ExperienceExperience with a global companyExperience writing and publishing security standardsTechnical KnowledgeStrong working knowledge of physical security systems and componentsEqual Opportunities & PrivacyAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
