Grid compliance, bankability, and technical robustness are central to its engineering strategy.The RoleSitting within the engineering function, the Senior Grid Expert will lead all grid-related technical activities, ensuring projects are designed, authorised, and delivered in full compliance with Italian grid codes and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage grid connection processes for utility-scale solar PV and PV + BESS projects.Act as the primary technical interface with the TSO, DSOs, and regulatory authorities.Review, validate, and oversee grid studies including load flow, short-circuit, and compliance analyses.Ensure adherence to grid codes, CEI standards, and regulatory frameworks.Define and optimise MV/HV connection solutions, substations, and transformer configurations.Support permitting processes through preparation and review of grid documentation.Coordinate EPCs, consultants, and equipment suppliers on grid-related matters.Assess grid capacity, constraints, and curtailment risks during development.Contribute to standardisation and continuous improvement of internal grid engineering practices.RequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on power systems.Extensive experience in grid engineering for solar PV projects in Italy.Proven track record working with the Italian TSO and/or DSOs.Strong knowledge of grid codes, standards, and authorisation processes.Proficiency in power system analysis tools (e.g. DIgSILENT, PSS®E, ETAP).Fluent Italian and English.How to ApplyYou can apply via LinkedIn, through our website, or by contacting me directly and confidentially at .
