You will be responsible for the weekly forecast update on 18-months horizon, with the aim of assuring the optimal demand planning accuracy, customer service level and optimal stock cover. Furthermore, you will be involved in continuous improvement projects, having the opportunity to lead the project development, suggest initiatives and guide all the stakeholders to through the project scope.A day in the life of a Demand PlannerDevelop, maintain and improve a consolidated Demand Plan at SKU level and on daily basis for a portfolio of products, which represents the most realistic estimate of customer/ channel demand, through projection of the most realistic demand estimate, managing exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the supply in fulfilling market demandDetermining key issues with volume variance that may impact supply and highlighting them to production and distribution planners by challenging existing logistics and supply planning processes and toolsEnsure the alignment of the demand plan with internal and external partners through Monthly Business Planning (MBP) and collaborative planning processesIdentify and manage exceptions and monitor performance to continually improve the quality and reliability of the demand plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstancesAnalyzing and effectively communicating relevant information with the direct producing factory and affiliate supply teams, highlighting all supply issues to the sales and commercial teamActive involvement in Monthly Business Process and supply chain practices to have finished goods available at the right stock location with the freshness requested.What will make you successfulAt least 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Commercial Development/SalesHaving operations experience in at least one of the following areas is considered a plus:Production PlanningDemand & Supply PlanningDistribution PlanningAnalytical mindset and attention to detailsSupply Chain Planning interest, with a determined and proactive approachStrong Excel knowledge – SAP, Power Query and Power BI knowledge is a plusStrong communication skills and high service orientation levelFluent in both Italian and EnglishWe are Nestlé.
