We were meant to fly.As a Service Certifying Staff and Quality Engineer you will assure that QMS requirements military and civil Airworthiness Regulations and specific Customer requirements for the MRO and CRO Processes are fulfilled and you will be responsible for products certification and release to the Customer.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesWork across functions in order to guarantee proper management of quality issues in order to minimize impact on Customer On Time Delivery and CostsAct as Certifying Staff in accordance with main Aeronautical Standard: EMAR145 EASA Part21 EASA Part145Guarantee correct management of non conforming productsMonitor and oversee MRO and CRO processes from a quality standpoint with specific focus on products to be certifiedRecognize improvement opportunities and work with stakeholders to identify and implement effective Corrective/Preventive action plansPromote the awareness and compliance to the Avio Aero SMS Customer and Regulatory requirementsConduct Root Cause Analysis following customer escapes or other quality issuesConduct weekly shop auditsConduct the preliminary review and work with Material Review Board to disposition nonconforming material and devise remediation actionsSupport Customer and Regulatory Internal and External audits and assure implementation of corrective actionsQualification/RequirementsDegree in Engineering (Mechanical and Aeronautical preferred) and/or proven and solid experience in technical quality operations or manufacturing engineering roleKnowledge of Aeronautical Industry processesAirworthiness Regulations trainedFluent both Italian and EnglishWork Visa in accordance with local regulation is requiredDesired CharacteristicsApproved EASA/EMAR Certifying Staff or experience in Product CertificationKnowledge of MRO/CRO ProcessesRecognized Problem Solving skillsAbility to comprehend technical documentationAbility to work to tight deadlinesAbility to manage competing prioritiesSix sigma trainedStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsWhat we offerSmart working and work life‑balanceAvio Aero when possible promotes hybrid work and encourages a good healthy and satisfying work‑life balance.
