We are the people behind the people who keep saving lives.ResponsibilitiesSummary of the roleUnderstands the cardiovascular healthcare landscape and identifies educational needs across target specialties (interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists, angiologists, and vascular surgeons)Executes the ProfEd strategy locally in line with regional guidancePlans and manages peer‑to‑peer education in the country based on Cordis' educational strategyCoordinates faculty, centre of references, participants, logistics, and on‑site executionEnsures full compliance and complete, audit‑ready documentationEducational needs and planningAssess country training needs to educate HCPs and improve patient outcomesBuild a country ProfEd calendar aligned to educational prioritiesPrepare activity briefs, agenda, objectives, and expected clinical outcomes for each eventManage the local ProfEd budget within approved limits and reconcile on timeFaculty, centres of reference, and contentMap and maintain a list of key opinion leaders (KOLs), speakers, and reference centres by specialty. Propose faculty and CoEs per activityAdapt approved regional content for local implementation and ensure alignment of didactic materials with the facultyExecution and on‑site supportRun end‑to‑end logistics for courses, workshops, proctorships, and conference activities (symposium, lectures, learning centres…)Provide on‑site educational support in OR/cath lab, training centres, and congress venuesEnsure HCP selection follows approved criteria and documented rationaleFollow‑up and outcomesImplement post‑event follow‑up: attendance, competency checklists, feedback, and NPSTrack clinical and operational outcomes agreed for each activity; report variancesCollaborationDrive clear processes with Sales, Marketing, International ProfEd team, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and LegalAlign with regional ProfEd on priorities, content, metrics, and vendor standardsMaintain relationships with national scientific societies and congress organisersCompliance and recordsOperate within MedTech Europe, local codes, GDPR, and Cordis policiesKeep complete, audit‑ready files in designated systems for all ProfEd activitiesMonitor risks and elevate issues promptlyProcess management & reportingUse approved tools for planning, approvals, contracting, logistics, and reportingDeliver monthly dashboards: activity status, HCPs trained, spend vs. plan, and outcomesPrepare concise decks for internal and external meetings on timeQualificationsBachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, biomedical engineering, or related field3–5 years in medical device education, clinical support, or healthcare event deliveryExperience working in the interventional cardiology or vascular fields is a mustSkilled in project management, vendor coordination, and maintaining thorough documentationFluency in local language and English; additional languages are a plusValid driver’s licence; ability to travel extensively within the CountryStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other Microsoft Office tools and hands‑on experience with event management software (e.g., Cvent or similar platforms)Preferred QualificationsCandidate is preferred to be resident in North ItalyEqual Opportunity StatementCordis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal opportunity for all teammates and applicants.
