Join our Compliance Sustainability and Transaction Group as our new Sustainability Consultant and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. Your new role As our new Sustainability Consultant you will contribute towards creating a sustainable future and work on our inspiring projects and innovative solutions that aim to set the standard among our peers. We will consider remote/hybrid working as an option with a willingness to travel for internal/external meetings. Ramboll operates a flexible working policy, and with this you will be part of an exciting team of experts, who respect each other and work towards a common goal. Your key responsibilities will be: GHG accounting and reporting, with including Scope 3 GHG emissions quantification of complex organizations Life Cycle Assessment/Product Carbon Footprint projects Energy and climate transition projects, including familiarity with national and international policies and scenarios for the decarbonization including SBTi;   Coordination of project teams/tasks on the above topics. Your new team You will be part of a growing team of Permitting and Sustainability specialists consistent of like-minded individuals who are passionate about air quality, permitting, environmental legislation assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems. The Permitting and Sustainability Group consults with clients across various industries (Manufacturing, Metallurgy, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Services, etc.) on a range of topics, including but not limited to LCA, Carbon footprint, circular economy environmental permitting under IPPC IED EU Legislation, National environmental impact assessments, emissions estimation, air dispersion modelling, wastewater permits and improvement projects, human health risk assessment, climate change, permitting, compliance, and indoor/outdoor air quality. Whilst we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success. These include: Proven experience (1-2 years) in consultancy and/or manufacturing/energy industry; Appropriate Master’s Degree in environmental or energy engineering or other related discipline; Post-graduate study in sustainability matters and climate-energy transition will be considered as a plus; Excellent communication skills in Italian and English both oral and written, third language will be considered as a plus.
