Robotic hardware engineer, rapid integration & Test Mirai is building the first AI‑driven autonomy platform for vessels under 100 ft, combining advanced robotics, sensor fusion, and onboard intelligence to make every boat autonomous, safer, and dramatically easier to operate. Beyond enabling crewed vessels, Mirai also develops next‑generationAutonomous Surface Vehicles (ASVs) — uncrewed platforms designed for exploration, utility missions, and operational support — all powered by the same Operating System and multi‑layer autonomy framework. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated rapid integration and test robotic engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating hardware and software systems onto unmanned vehicles, and working closely with cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype, validate and iterate on end‑to‑end autonomy solutions — transforming early concepts into reliable, field‑ready robotic systems. You will work at the intersection of robotics, AI software, hardware integration and field testing, contributing to the development and integration of Mirai’s autonomy stack across prototype platforms.
