Overview The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Technology team, part of Finance Automation, is the software development and data and analytics team for GREF. Our mission is to build technology solutions that simplify the processes Amazon employs to manage its corporate real estate and improve workplace experience. We build services and products that support various GREF domains, including space and occupancy planning, design and construction, employee health and safety, sustainability, facilities maintenance, help desk, and building management systems requiring IoT expertise. Come join us in making historyKey job responsibilities Collaborate across a team of BI engineers, sharing domain expertise and best practices to elevate the overall BI capabilitiesBuild visually stunning, interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to GREF customers using Amazon QuickSightLead the design and implementation of highly complex, scalable, and high-performance BI architectures and data models to support the organization's strategic business objectivesUse advanced analytics techniques, such as statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning, to uncover hidden patterns and trends in dataCollaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, data scientists, and business partners to define and deliver impactful BI solutions that drive business valueLead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of new BI tools and technologies to continuously enhance the organization's analytical capabilitiesRepresent the BI function in strategic business discussions and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadershipBasic Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer or similar roleExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsUnderstanding of data engineering concepts and proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data-oriented programming languagesPreferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer or similar senior-level roleExperience in designing and implementing BI architectures and data modelsExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful BI initiativesOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
