Job Scope
The Project Leader develops for the company immunodiagnostic products based on the chemiluminescent technology. Responsible for initiating, directing and executing development strategies for the company. Plans and executes laboratory research. Serves as in-house consultant on scientific decisions, supports the resolution of technical issues. Guarantees technical and managerial expertise for the successful completion of development projects entrusted to it, in accordance with the standard procedures in forcehe Project Leader plans and coordinates laboratory research as technical lead or as technical support for an assay development project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- The Project Leader plans and coordinates laboratory research as technical lead or as technical support for an assay development project.
- He/she verifies the adequacy of diagnostic performance of an immunoassay. Acts as interface with internal and external scientists and other departments.
- He/she may serve as a technical representative in interdisciplinary teams during the product development process.
- He/she serves as independent investigator, or as part of an investigation team, to solve scientific and technical issues pertinent to the products.
- He/she maintains knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories on immunoassays.
- He/She coordinates the activities of Technical Expert(s) and Laboratory Staff as a Team Leader.
- He/She coordinates and monitors, in collaboration with the Project Management Office, the performance of assigned projects.
- He/She verifies critical aspects and requirements in compliance with internal regulations (GOP-SOP) and external and internal quality standards.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- University degree in a scientific discipline.
- Professional experience:
A) Two year experience (minimum) on product and/or process assay development in DiaSorin or in equivalent diagnostic or pharmaceutical companies.
B) Knowledge of mandatory requirements for in vitro "Diagnostic Medical Devices"
- Skilled with Office Tools (word, Excel)
- Basic Statistical analysis with MiniTab or equivalent softwares
- DoE basic skills
- Proactive, flexibility, able to support decisions and communications.
- Able to act as a reference for a team and able to define technical strategies.
- Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English.

- Classification under the Chemical-Pharmaceutical CCNL (Italian national collective bargaining agreement)
- Gross annual base salary from €37.683,94
