Rome, Italy.Job PurposeWe are looking for a Product Compliance Specialist to join the Industrial Sustainability Department. The role ensures that raw materials and finished products meet international regulations and Prada Group sustainability standards. It supports quality and environmental responsibility across all product categories—leather goods, footwear, ready-to-wear, accessories and home—while proactively coordinating with internal teams and external laboratories to secure full compliance.ResponsibilitiesConduct regular research and analysis on international regulations to identify any new compliance constraints for the import and commercialization of products.Ensure the compliance of raw materials and finished products with international regulations and Prada Group\'s Product Restricted Substances List (PRSL), while effectively managing external analysis laboratories.Use PLM systems to manage testing and the compliance control plan, while performing regular supervisory checks to ensure adherence to established analysis protocols and continuously monitoring the supply chain for compliance verification.Maintain oversight of analysis laboratories, including the evaluation of reports and managing samples for testing.Provide support to internal teams in understanding and applying compliance protocols, assisting with any technical or methodological queries, and implementing corrective actions when needed.Collaborating effectively with departments such as Leather Goods, Footwear, RTW, and Home, as well as liaising with other companies within the Group to synchronize activities and standardize documentation.Knowledge & Skills / QualificationsDegree in Chemistry, Engineering, Natural Science or similar.5+ years of experience in Product Compliance, preferably in Fashion & Luxury Industry (Leathergoods, Footwear, RTW etc.).Good understanding of product development processes.Strong attitude in managing complex regulatory frameworks in a fast-pacing production company.Proficiency in English language, both in verbal and written communication.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.Keen attention to detail coupled with the capability to manage and prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks and demands.Joining our Company means working in a creative and international environment, with teams of people motivated by curiosity and the quest for excellence.
