Functional Safety Engineer

Activities: Analyze potential safety risks and hazards in vehicle systems; Develop and enforce security requirements and processes; Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into projects; Conduct security assessments and audits; Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations; Plan the safety related activities of the various development phases and create a safety plan; Coordination of activities, milestones, and interfaces with project management; Coordination and realization the implementation of analyses FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA; Participation in meetings with customers and suppliers. Requirements: Knowledge of project management methods and analyses; Experience in the application of systems (e.g., steering / axle /transmission systems); Technology experience (electronics, software, mechatronics, etc.); - Experience regarding the functional safety of the applied technology; Knowledge of the relevant standards and laws (I SO 26262 ); Communication skills and ability to work in a team; Fluent English skills are a must (German is a plus).
