Lead Manufacturing Engineer at GE Vernova Job Description Summary Leads engineering teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, propose budgets for production, implement new technologies. Roles and ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: manage manufacturing engineers and technicians. Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement, Lean/Operational Excellence, and implement new manufacturing technologies. New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with design/operations to ensure manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up. Production equipment: Manage equipment selection, installation, upgrades, tooling design, and capital investment budgets. Documentation & Standards: Establish/approve process specifications, work instructions, material specifications, and ensure compliance (Safety, Quality, Regulatory). Material data accuracy: driving initiatives & Implementing a continuous process to review material data accuracy. Material setup: define production BOM for new code and define Make or Buy based on industrial organization.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college; or equivalent experience. SAP MM module knowledge.
