He/She will be mainly focused on the floor mount/chiller products.What kind of work will you be doing?Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high performance, cost effective design and market leading innovation.To design new products or re-engineer existing ones, with a focus on the mechanical aspects (mainly sheet metal and piping), collaborating with suppliers, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs.To create and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material).Work in a structured company using PLM system to create items and managing the revisions.To meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs.To analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility; improving, updating, reviewing the mechanical drawings according to the information from the Production, Procurement and Logistics departments, to simplify the assembly, reducing the costs and improving the quality.A high level of experienced CAD skill combined with a good attention to details.Availability to travel on request between the Italian HQ (base) and a production facility in Slovakia.What will make you successful?Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;At least 3 years of previous working experience on similar activities, ideally in the Chiller or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) sectors;Good knowledge of light structural work processing is mandatory;Knowledge of thermodynamics aspects is desirable but not essential;Excellent knowledge of 3D/2D CAD & PLM systems, Microsoft Office tools, particularly PTC Creo.
