A veterinary practice is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its collaborative emergency and specialty care team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing urgent and critical cases, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Experienced emergency clinicians, internship-trained veterinarians, and motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care and stabilize patients requiring urgent treatment.
Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Manage a diverse emergency caseload while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and follow-up care.
Collaborate with specialists, veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Participate in continuing education and contribute to a collaborative learning environment.
Uphold established medical protocols and promote excellent client service.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.
Internship training or previous emergency experience is preferred but not required.
New graduates with a strong interest in emergency medicine are encouraged to apply.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
