Key Job ResponsibilitiesLead a team delivering features and bug‑fixes for Ring products portfolio.Work in an Agile / Scrum environment to deliver high‑quality software.Assure the right firmware strategy and architecture is applied by the team.Work across teams to manage dependencies and align on engineering work and timelines.Collaborate with business and other internal teams to define and own features.Proactively solve day‑to‑day challenges and exercise sound judgment.Remove barriers to execution for the team.Define and execute process improvements to allow the team to improve over time.Mentor, hire and retain excellent engineers.Drive best practices and engineering excellence.A Day in the LifeThe Software Development Manager will work with their team to deliver new features for Ring products. You will work closely with your stakeholders to prioritise and schedule engineering work. You will be responsible for all engineering team members, coaching and mentoring as they work to execute a set of agile stories to deliver the required features. You will also work with your direct reports to remove road‑blocks, help with career development and coach the team on best practices and agile processes.About the TeamRing is a team of builders that proudly develops connected consumer products completely in house using a fast‑paced and efficient process.
