The Hiring Software Delivery (HSD) team builds the systems used by recruiters and interviewers to scale Amazon’s hiring processes by embedding GenAI tools in the interview evaluation process. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Software Developer to lead a large two‑pizza team (~12 SDEs), define and evolve its practices, and own the team’s product vision and roadmap.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine system architecture, own and implement specific components, and shape the overall user experience.Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and other SDE team members to define product scope.Participate in the full development life cycle, including test planning, execution, and ensuring software quality.Plan, design, implement, test, operate, and continuously improve processes.Design interaction between solution components and other systems.Engineer highly scalable, cloud‑native applications.A Day in the Life You will spearhead Amazon’s talent acquisition technology, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining innovative services that power global recruiting efforts. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market.
