That’s why we have brand‑specific design teams, so designers can connect with brands and work toward perfect product differentiation and keep up with an increasingly global world.Lead Exterior Designer We are currently seeking a Lead Exterior Designer who will join Alfa Romeo.The Profile We are looking for a profile who is really committed and shares the values of the Brand, giving his or her best to support Alfa Romeo. Creative and “think out of schemes” approach, able to balance the necessity of being catchy and appealing, to develop new automotive trends through the use of both hand‑sketches and 3‑D digital tools according to the Brand necessities.Will work in an intercultural team, which means she or he must have good relational skills and be prepared to deal with the challenges presented by cultural differences and cooperate with colleagues in a proficient way.ProfileAt least 10 years of experience in an OEM; 5 years at least as senior designer having brought production cars in the market and/or designed significant concept cars.Complete knowledge of the design process from initial sketch until industrialisation.Experience in production and having led projects strictly in close collaboration with engineering, communications and marketing departments.Highly skilled in detail design and graphics.Ability to present 2D and 3D concepts using a wide variety of techniques, including manual/digital sketching, ALIAS, Photoshop, VRED, Blender, PowerPoint, Illustrator.Previous experience in clay‑modeling follow‑up.A creative mind able to keep ideas catchy, competitive and attractive, which requires staying updated on stylistic and functional needs of the automotive sector and drawing parallels with other design disciplines.Ability to direct and focus on multiple projects, driving them autonomously and creatively coaching less experienced designers.Good teamwork and communication skills, and good English knowledge are considered fundamental.At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
