Job purpose : MetaSensing is seeking a Product Assurance (PA) engineer to support the development, production and deployment of high-tech radar systems for airborne and space applications. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements, playing a key role in ensuring product reliability and safety.

Location : MetaSensing, Via Aniene 2, 20151, Milan, Italy

Employment condition : Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

The activities will include:

  • Manage product assurance requirements for assigned projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain PA Plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements
  • Verify the implementation of quality requirements throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare and implement the quality assurance policies and procedures according to ISO9001, EN9100 and ECSS standards.
  • Manage Non-conformances with Customer and Suppliers, including root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Manage Deviations and Waivers.
  • Support during audits (internal and suppliers).
  • Cleanliness and contamination control.
  • Support reliability, maintainability, and product safety activities.
  • Support Configuration Management activities.
  • Verify traceability of materials, parts, assemblies, and processes.
  • Participate in functional, environmental, qualification, and acceptance testing of SAR radar systems.

Skills / Qualifications  

  • Education: University Degree in Engineering (Space, Aerospace, Eletronic, Mechanical or related disciplines).
  • Mid-level: 3-5 years of experience in Product Assurance/Quality Assurance within the aerospace industry or other highly regulated environments (e.g. medical devices, pharmaceutical).

Technical knowledge :

  • Expertise in electronic assembly and testing, quality process (NCR, deviation and waiver management) and configuration management control.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of QA techniques (8D, fishbone diagram, …)
  • Experience in managing NCRs and participating in NRBs.
  • Knowledge of applicable standards: ECSS, MIL-STD, EN9100, ISO 9001

Skills:

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Self-motivated professional with strong attention to detail, a process-oriented mindset and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Languages: Proficient in written and spoken technical English (minimum B2 level).

Software proficiency:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)

Candidate must be eligible to work in Italy.  

Employment condition:  Full-time, 40 hours per week. 

Offered salary range: € 40.000 - 50.000 gross annual
