Job Summary SSI Water Srl, part of the Ingersoll Rand group, is the European Branch of SSI Aeration Inc, a world leader in aeration system technology for wastewater treatment applications. We are looking for a Project Engineer to work at our Viale Certosa, Milan (MI) site. The role involves producing engineering deliverables, implementing ERP, preparing technical requisitions, and collaborating with project teams and vendors. ResponsibilitiesProduction of the engineering deliverables under supervision of the PM. Implementation of ERP. Preparation of technical requisition, bid technical evaluation and vendor follow‑up of the items under responsibility. Review and implementation of client comments to obtain approval of documentation. Cooperation with the project team and other company stakeholders to ensure contractual fulfillment and resolution of technical issues. Participation in project meetings/calls with client, including. Travel for main supplier and site visits.Basic QualificationsMaster’s degree in environmental or mechanical engineering. Experience with Microsoft Teams and AutoCAD. Fluent in English and Italian.Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Approx. 90% in‑office and smart working, 10% travel. Key CompetenciesGood engineering fundamentals on process and/or mechanical aspects (piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, valves). Ability to interface with other departments such as Procurement, Project Management, Quality, as well as customers and vendors. 2+ years of experience as Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry (process packages suppliers), mechanical/machinery engineer in engineering companies or EPC contractors.What We OfferDynamic international working environment.
