Construction Estimating Head of DepartmentReports to Construction Home Office Manager; part of Home Office team with occasional site survey trips. Activities: Proposal & Offer phases, sometimes project execution.Duties and responsibilitiesPrepare cost estimating for subcontract costs, site management, supervision activities, site temporary facilities and running costs.Support the construction cost estimate to the commercial department.Promote development of construction estimating methodology.Cooperate with Subcontracting on Construction Subcontractors bid analysis and final subcontract definition.Attend the bid kick off meeting called by the Proposal Manager.Keep estimating tools and libraries updated.Cooperate with Construction Engineers.ExperienceRelevant experience in EPC projects: refinery, oil & gas facilities, power generation sector.Additional previous references in revamping/shootdown will be a plus.7 to 10 years of experience in refinery, oil & gas facilities, power generation sector.Multidiscipline works.Skills and AbilitiesGood IT and analytical skills.Capability of working on multidiscipline works.Team-oriented skills.Self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.Capability to travel alone for short surveys and meetings with clients and subcontractors.Able to manage all construction disciplines and technical documentation even in preliminary status.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering Services and Construction#J-18808-Ljbffr
