Regional Public & Government Affairs Manager - SudJoin to apply for the Regional Public & Government Affairs Manager - Sud role at Boehringer IngelheimTHE POSITIONWe are looking for a Regional Public & Government Affairs Manager to ensure a strong and qualified institutional presence with elected political decision-makers at regional and local levels (Regional Councils, Regional Committees, Commissions, Mayors, Municipal Councils, Provincial Presidents) within the Human Pharma and Animal Health sectors. This role focuses exclusively on political engagement, aiming to anticipate, influence, and enhance public and regulatory debates in healthcare, pharmaceutical, and veterinary sectors.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong and ongoing relationships with regional and local political representatives, including Councilors and MayorsPromote awareness and recognition of the company’s contribution to human and animal health among political decision-makersMonitor regional political and legislative activity relevant to Human Pharma and Animal Health (resolutions, motions, bills, parliamentary questions, etc.)Develop and implement political advocacy plans aligned with business priorities to facilitate the achievement of company objectivesDraft, prepare, and manage institutional documents: letters, briefings, position papers, amendments, parliamentary oversight acts, guidance and control acts, bills, political notesSupport the organization of institutional meetings, company visits, public events, and political roundtablesCollaborate and co-create reference activities with internal teams (Business, Market Access, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Communication, Legal, Finance) to ensure consistency in the company’s political positioningContribute to defining the regional political strategy on access, sustainability, public health, and veterinary healthcareRequirementsDegree in Political Science, Law, International Relations, or related fieldsAt least 3–5 years of experience in government affairs, public affairs, or similar roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical sectorFluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)In-depth knowledge of the functioning of Italian regional institutions, national and regional legislative processes, legislative drafting, and national/local political dynamicsRegulatory expertise and ability to conduct political analysis applied to Human Pharma and Animal Health sectorsEstablished network of political contactsExcellent communication, negotiation, and institutional writing skillsProactivity, political sensitivity, discretion, and goal orientationKnowledge of institutional protocols and ceremonial practicesExperience in multi-stakeholder contexts (trade associations, inter-parliamentary groups, healthcare task forces) is considered a preferential qualification would be a plusWhat we offerFor this position we offer a permanent contract.A range of benefits for physical, financial, social and mental wellbeingA support to develop professional and personal paths including our full range of development programs.We warmly welcome applications from candidates belonging to protected categories, in accordance with Law 68/99.
