Technical Support Expert

Your opportunitySidel is looking for Tunnel Technical Support Expert Mechanical who will be a part of Product Support Back Office Team based in Verona that will report to Technical Support Manager. Main function in the office is to secure the operational follow up & technical support of all Tunnel (Bottlewashers, Pasteurizer, Crate washer, Cooler and Warmer in complete line and stand-alone configuration) and associated trade equipment on mechanical side. The expert could also be asked to validate internally and externally the introduction of modifications and variants of new products in the portfolio, concerning the Tunnel products portfolio, in coordination with the other relevant teams. He is finally accountable to execute RCA following issue resolution process, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions, interacting with the other departments.Your MissionSidel is looking for a Tunnel Technical Support Expert – Mechanical to join the Product Support Back Office Team in Verona. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational follow-up and mechanical technical support for Tunnel equipment, including Bottlewashers, Pasteurizers, Crate Washers, Coolers, and Warmers, both in complete line and stand-alone configurations.Your ResponsibilitiesEnsure ongoing operational follow-up and mechanical support for all Tunnel equipment and associated trade componentsProvide expert technical support to maintain reliability and performance in the fieldParticipate in the internal and external validation of modifications and product variants for new additions to the Tunnel product portfolioCollaborate with other relevant teams to align on product updates and changesTake responsibility for executing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as part of the issue resolution processSupport the development and implementation of recovery plans and corrective actions, working closely with various departmentsYour ProfileSecure troubleshooting on Tunnel and associated trade equipmentSupport the availability of field methods for installation, qualification, technical analysis, repairing and maintenance activities.Execute RCA on Tunnel equipment issues, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions.Secure the application of retrofits on the Tunnel products installed base, where necessary.Participate to L3/L4 equipment FAT (workshop) & installation, start-up, validation, commissioning, and services (onsite).Support Regional Product Support during start-up and commissioning of L3/L4 Tunnel equipment.Intervention on site in case of technical issues that require a specific RCA & troubleshooting.Improve personal competences on Tunnel, and trade associated equipment in addition to line equipment’s.Support in the workshop L4 prototype internal qualification (run-off, assembly, test).Support onsite for external qualification of product modifications and variants.Move in zones to reinforce expertise, analysis and communication within Q&TS teams.Level Of Education And LanguagesEducation: Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualificationLanguage requirements: Fluency in English is a must-have, French and Spanish will be a plus; A good level of Italian an advantage for your best local integration.Required Experience And Skills5 years at least of technical assistance, field experience or engineering on Tunnel or process equipment’sBottlewasher and Pasteurizer equipment will be a plusRigorous, dynamic, organized, proactive, ability to work autonomously.Availability to travel up to 75%.SAP knowledge will be a plus.Knowledge of Sidel Tunnel products and processes will be a plus.Excellent reporting capability.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Attitude to problem solving (trouble shooting and RCA) and Customer oriented.Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)#J-18808-Ljbffr
