Overview
In this role you will lead the Cyber Security Defence Center to strengthen cyber resilience, reduce business risk, and protect critical information. You will drive security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure compliance with NIS2 and continuously improve detection and response capabilities. This position offers strategic influence across security operations and a chance to shape the organization’s cyber defense program.

Responsabilità Define and execute the CSDC strategy, roadmap, and performance objectives
Lead security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and cyber defence operations
Manage cybersecurity incidents end-to-end with containment, recovery, and post-incident improvements
Coordinate major cyber incidents and crisis communications with stakeholders
Enhance detection capabilities through threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, automation
Act as CSIRT representative ensuring NIS2 compliance and coordinating reporting
Lead and develop internal teams and external service providers for operational excellence
Establish KPIs, reporting, and governance to measure CSDC performance, maturity, risks, and threats
Requisiti fondamentali Bachelor in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science
Extensive experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, or Cyber Defence
Strong knowledge of SOC operations, SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, IR methodologies, and network security
Proven experience managing complex cybersecurity incidents and coordinating crisis response
Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations including NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK
Experience leading cybersecurity teams and managing external security service providers
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision‑making in high‑pressure environments
Fluency in Italian and English, with availability for on-call duty
