The HSE intern at Vestas is responsible for assisting in the administration and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental management plans, with a primary focus on the Vestas Behavioral Change process. This role involves conducting inspections and supporting day‑to‑day HSE initiatives within the factory location to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.The position is based in Taranto – Italy.ResponsibilitiesWork in close collaboration to Vestas' internal departments and Production/Maintenance Teams as appropriateAssist with incident investigations and follow‑up meetingsAssist with causes of injuries and accidents investigations to identify preventive measuresUse and understand HSE databases and SharePoint sitesReview and assist with documentation changes of HSE proceduresIncorporate Vestas Values in all aspects of the jobQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or chemical (Master degree would be a plus)Strong ability to work in teams and self‑manage tasksHigh adaptability and flexibilityStrong desire to learn new skillsExcellent work ethic and dependabilitySystem skills in Microsoft Office and database programsOpen to learning HSE, ISO 14001, 45001 program managementUnderstanding of behavior‑based programs is a plusCompetenciesGood communication skillsAbility to organize and prioritize tasks, to work freely, adapt to new and sometimes complex situationsSolid interpersonal, computer, presentation, and collaboration skillsAble to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersGood commitment to quality, good time management and reporting skillsWhat We OfferA great team with colleagues who support each other and work togetherGreat opportunities for professional and personal developmentA work environment in which the preparedness to take initiative and responsibility are highly valuedThe opportunity to maintain and develop a safe work environment in a sustainable industryAttractive remuneration and benefits.Our Commitment to a Fair HiringAt Vestas, we evaluate all candidates solely based on their professional experience, education, and relevant skills.
