Pastry ChefLocation: Monza, ItalyHotel: HOTEL DE LA VILLE, 4-star luxury hotel, part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World chain.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef for a full-time, on-site position located in Monza. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, innovative pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Daily tasks include preparing and baking desserts, and confectioneries, developing unique recipes, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene, ensuring presentation excellence, and coordinating with the culinary team for a seamless dining experience.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and bake a variety of desserts and confectioneries.Develop unique pastry recipes and refine existing menus.Maintain food quality, safety, and hygiene standards.Ensure exceptional presentation of all baked goods.Coordinate with the culinary team to support the overall dining service.QualificationsStrong foundational culinary skills in bakery, food preparation, and baking techniques.Proficiency in crafting high-quality fine dining plated desserts, simple pastries, and baked goods.Demonstrated ability to innovate, create recipes, and maintain food presentation standards.Excellent organizational and time management skills for efficient kitchen operations.Knowledge and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.Formal education or certifications in culinary arts or pastry-making is a plus.Proven experience in professional kitchens, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.A passion for culinary excellence and continuous learning.Experience in banqueting services.Serious knowledge of HACCP hygiene and health regulations.Additional InformationIn addition to the professional culture and passion, the profile is completed with the ability to interact in proactive and creative terms with a young and dynamic team to achieve ambitious goals.The job offer is intended to refer to both sexes with recruitment aimed at permanent and immediate placement.
