Purpose of the position: As Offshore Crane Operator (L1) , you will join our Department/Function VECOP in the business line ABSER conducting the following activities: Operate the crane tugger hoists on crane with dedicated tugger hoist consoles; Operate the tugger hoists according to the directions of the Main Crane Operator or the Deck Foreman, in accordance with the limits of the machine and with due considerations to existing weather and sea state conditions; Follow closely the movement of the Main Crane in order to timely react to instructions; Operate and takes care of the crane; Carry out lifting operation in a safe manner; Maintain contact with the bridge and the Deck Foreman during lifting operations. Education: Mechanical/Technical High School or Professional Diploma Years of Experience: 2-4 years vocational training or related experience to work with earth-moving machinery or cranes Technical Knowledge: Proven experience operating earth-moving machinery or cranes An understanding of how to use and maintain machines and tools Strong safety awareness and work ethic What else should you know?
