We are currently looking for an Accounting & Reporting Specialist to join our Finance team at the Italian Headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic multinational environment, where you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, analysis and business decision-making processes. What To Expect Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will contribute to the financial reporting and analysis activities of the Italian business, working closely with Finance colleagues and stakeholders across the organization to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial and management reports for local management, regional Finance and Group stakeholders;
- Collecting, consolidating and validating financial data from different business areas, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency;
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities in collaboration with the Finance Manager and Shared Service teams;
- Contributing to budgeting, forecasting and working capital reporting processes;
- Performing financial and variance analysis, monitoring key business performance indicators;
- Supporting accounting reconciliations and accounting adjustments when required;
- Coordinating the timely collection of financial information and ensuring reporting deadlines are met;
- Acting as a key point of contact between Finance and operational teams for reporting and accounting-related matters;
- Maintaining and improving reporting files, databases and Excel-based reporting tools;
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting processes, information flows and internal controls
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline;
- Approximately 4-6 years of experience in accounting, reporting or finance support roles, preferably within multinational or international environments;
- Good understanding of accounting principles, periodic closing activities and financial reporting processes;
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and reporting tools;
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem solving;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions;
- Fluent Italian and a good working knowledge of English
- Permanent employment contract under the Italian Commercial Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Commercio);
- Annual gross salary (RAL) between €38,000 and €42,000, depending on experience, skills and level of autonomy;
