This person must be working with a team of top-notch developers and collaborating with our research teams. We’re looking for people who innovate and love solving hard problems You will work hard, have fun, and of course, benefit our customers everywhereThis position requires a candidate that can operate in an ambiguous environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in multiple engineering disciplines. This role will interface closely with System Engineers, Hardware Development Engineers, and Software Development Engineers across a broad range of technical areas to enable software configuration management mechanisms. This person will be required to articulate when gaps are identified, and propose solutions quickly.The ideal candidate will have a balance of breadth across engineering disciplines, depth and expertise in select areas, and practical real-life experience with configuration management of complex systems.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience3+ years of experience in software configuration management/controlExperience working within Aerospace Regulatory EnvironmentsPreferred QualificationsMS degree in computer science or electrical engineeringA strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiencesExperience building frameworks for creating complex applications with simplified tools.Experience with DO-178C Software Configuration ManagementAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market.
