We’re supporting a major, well-funded solar developer with an established and fast-growing European platform. As part of their continued expansion in Italy, they’re looking to appoint a Senior Project Development Manager to lead the development of utility-scale solar PV projects, from origination through to financial close. Responsibilities Lead the development of utility-scale solar PV projects in Italy Manage projects from origination through permitting, grid connection and financial close Oversee land acquisition, environmental assessments and technical studies Manage permitting processes and engagement with local authorities and grid operators Identify and mitigate environmental, technical and regulatory constraints Coordinate internal teams and external advisors across development milestones Support handover of projects into construction and delivery teams Requirements 5+ years’ experience developing utility-scale solar PV projects in Italy Proven experience across land acquisition, permitting, grid connection and environmental constraints Strong understanding of technical constraints and development risk Technical background, with an engineering degree or similar Experience with BESS projects is a strong advantage Based in Rome or willing to relocate Fluent Italian and English Why apply Join a leading solar developer with strong financial backing Impressive project pipeline and long‑term growth across Europe Senior level ownership and progression opportunity For more information, apply directly or contact us for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
