Firmware Engineer role at TXT GROUP TXT E-TECH, part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Firmware Engineer for a key project in the Aerospace & Defense sector. The selected candidate will be involved in firmware development, TestBench creation, and drafting of related technical documentation. Main Responsibilities Analysis and verification of input documentation Definition of firmware requirements Firmware updates and alignment with new specifications Development of TestBenches for firmware submodules and assemblies Development and verification of Test Setups, including preparation of related reports Contribution to firmware development process reviews Participation in hardware/firmware/software integration phases Essential Technical Skills Electronic design / FPGA Firmware Design VHDL AMD Vivado ModelSim / QuestaSim Experience with ILA and oscilloscope usage Knowledge of communication standards: HDLC, CAN Bus, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART Good command of Microsoft Office Suite Optional Technical Skills TCL Python Why Join TXT Group Career opportunities in a fast‑growing and evolving company with a young and international team Training programs focused on the specific technologies and activities performed Corporate benefits (health insurance, welfare programs, meal vouchers, and employee discounts) Permanent contract, with salary commensurate with experience and skill level Position is open to all applicants regardless of gender, in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 198/2006.
