Field Service Engineer - Mechatronics (Atlas Systems)Do you know how it feels to be truly invaluable? Our Field Service Engineers do As a Field Service Engineer Mechatronics at JBT Marel, your primary responsibility is to install, maintain and optimize our Atlas live bird handling systems at our customers’ sites. These highly mechatronic systems combine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical engineering and controls, making your role a unique blend of hands‑on technical work and customer interaction.On a Daily Basis, You WillPrepare and execute installation projects of Atlas systems.Conduct service and maintenance visits to ensure uptime and reliability.Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and controls‑related issues on‑site.Lead and coordinate local employees in larger installation projects.Keep in touch with, and report progress to, the customer.Train operators and maintenance staff in the use of our systems, and provide structured feedback to R&D and colleagues.You will be part of a team of experienced engineers who share knowledge and support each other, both on customer sites and from the office.Since this is a global role, you will travel internationally (~50–60% of your time).
